So last week I did a little pre wedding shoot with Chris and Sophie ahead of their wedding in May. We went for a look around the venue, which is as a old barn, located admittedly in the middle of nowhere, but the setting of the hills in the background is stunning. The barn itself was beautiful, with stone brick walls and huge wooden beams, it will look amazing on the day, and I'm excited to photograph their wedding there.
After we'd had a wander around there, we headed down to Buttermere Lake, which was just 10 minutes down the windy roads! After having a few near misses with a couple of sheep bouncing across the road, we found a good spot to pull up and start taking some photos.
Chris is a volunteer for the Fleetwood RNLI team and I thought it would be a great idea to bring some of the wellies they wear. The bright yellow looked really good in contrast auburn colours of the scenery.
I can't wait to shoot their wedding; I think it will be a day of happiness, fun and laughter. Let's hope the weather is good, if bring your brollies!
