I thought I would share some images from a few things I've been up to recently. It might inspire you to have book your own photo shoots and save those special memories forever.
The first pictures I'll show you are from a family portrait shoot I did with Graham, Lou, little Cerys and of course Splott the dog. This was actually a pre wedding shoot that the couple were entitled to when they booked their wedding. I can't wait to do their wedding in September after this.
I try and stay away from posing people too much when taking pictures, this family didn't need any much direction, which was perfect, I had to instigate a few tickle flights here and there, but everything went smoothly. When doing photo shoots where kids are involved I try and let the family decide on a location they enjoy spending time at, whether it be at a park, on the beach or up even up Blackpool Tower! I do this so they are comfortable in the environment and the kids will have fun.
We went to the Lowther Gardens as the family go there a lot for their lunch and Cerys loves the park. This time of year the Lowther is so colourful with the beautiful flowerbeds all over. They provide great backgrounds for pictures and as Cerys found out, they smell very nice too!
Here's some pictures from a shoot I did with the lovely Mimi from www.myhealthjourney.org.uk - Mimi is starting her journey into the Yoga industry and she wanted some pictures for her brand new website. Mimi is going on a 6 week exploration to India where she'll finally get her teaching qualification in Yoga and be able to share her wonderful new knowledge with all you lovely people. Visit her website and her Facebook page to follow her journey.
These images were all taken at Stanley Park, we thought this would be a great location to find some peace and quiet early in the morning. The bandstand was a great backdrop to Mimi's Yoga poses to start with, we then moved down towards the lake, which was perfect to create the naturalness, and tranquillity we were after. I love the swans sneaking in the back of the images too. Cheeky!!
Next up the cutest little bundle of fun you've ever seen. This is the second shoot I have done with Daisy in the last 6 months. The first shoot we did was on a wet and dreary day, we got some good pictures but we did all get a bit cold and miserable towards the end. However, for our second shoot at Ribby Hall, Daisy was raring to go. We headed to the Woodland trail for a spot of hide and seek before stumbling across some pretty pink flowers.
We had great fun playing on the park and being a bit naughty running on the bowls lawn and I think these pictures really bring out Daisy’s character, which is what every Mummy and Daddy want!
Here are the final set of images for today. This is Amy and Sam; I have recently photographed their wedding but have decided to share some images from the pre wedding shoot instead. I'll be sharing some more from their amazing day soon.
We did the pre wedding shoot just behind where they got married at The Barlow in Edgworth. There are some woods nearby that Amy's dad used to take her and her sister to when they were younger. Amy and Sam hadn't had a photo shoot prior to this, so when I first whipped my camera out to start taking some pictures they both froze in their tracks. Throughout the shoot as we got more comfortable with each other, it got more relaxed as they began to see how I worked. Amy and Sam are such a sweet couple and you can see their love for each other in the pictures.
That's all for now folks. If this has inspired you to book a shoot, get in touch NOW by clicking here, ringing me on 07772187142 or emailing me directly on email@example.com
