Mandy & Brett held their wedding in June at Southport Town Hall. The perfect fit for a pretty, relaxed, vintage style summer wedding.
Mandy & Brett were so much fun to work with and were smiling and laughing all day long. It was clear that as well as Mandy & Brett being great friends, they are also surrounded by a fabulous bunch of friends and family who were up for a laugh during the wedding day.
The happy couple first met each other at Manchester in Piccadilly Train Station on June 22nd 2011, after meeting through a mutual friend on Facebook. They got engaged September 28th 2015 on holiday on their balcony in Rome. From then on their wedding planning all happened pretty quickly, everything sort and naturally came together in the approach to the big day.
They wanted their wedding to reflect them, their personalities and interests whilst having a handcrafted and personal feel. There were some vintage/homemade elements including original bunting that the Bride's Nan hung in the streets for a party when the second World War had ended, the bunting has been preserved inside a newspaper of the day the party was held.
Top tips from the couple - Be open minded about exploring styles/themes that are particularly out of your comfort zones, you'd be surprised how your mind can change when you see something. Don't be afraid to ask for help, people are more than happy to give it. We had our cake made, flowers put together, first dance music played, and help with making decorations, all from family and friends who wanted to do their bit. Make the planning process fun and shop around, Ebay is your friend!
Thank you Mandy & Brett for having me along to such a fun day! Congratulations again and I wish you all the best!
